Storm Cleanup & Exterior Cleaning in Bradenton, FL

After a storm, silt, debris and mildew can stain roofs, driveways, pavers and walls. We clean exterior surfaces once it’s safe to do so. We don’t do structural repair, roofing repair or mold remediation, and we’ll tell you when something needs a different professional.

Context

Why storms leave exteriors so dirty

Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30. Wind-driven rain, storm surge and flooding leave silt, leaves and organic debris on surfaces, and the damp that follows feeds algae and mildew.

Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024 hit the Bradenton area hard, especially Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island, where recovery involved debris, damaged buildings and heavily stained exteriors. Cleaning is one part of that recovery.

Safety first

Before any cleaning

  • Stay clear of downed power lines and check for gas or electrical hazards.
  • Have a licensed professional assess structural, roof and water damage.
  • Floodwater can be contaminated, so don’t clean it up yourself without protection.
  • Take photos before cleaning if you may file an insurance claim.

What we don’t do

These need other professionals.

  • Structural or roofing repair
  • Mold assessment and remediation (regulated separately)
  • Water-damage restoration
  • Debris hauling and demolition

What we can clean

Exterior surfaces after a storm

Silt and debris stains

On driveways, walkways, pavers and pool decks.

Mildew and algae growth

The damp after storms speeds growth on roofs, walls and screens.

Salt residue

Salt carried inland or onto the island leaves film on metal, screens and glass-adjacent surfaces.

Docks and seawalls

Cleaning with methods matched to the material. Structural damage needs a marine contractor.

Water rules

Water restrictions and storm cleanup

Manatee County is under a drought water-shortage order through March 31, 2027. Annual pressure washing for appearance alone isn’t allowed, but necessary maintenance and preparing a surface for painting or sealing are. Cleaning for health and safety, or to remove hazardous growth that a broom can’t, may qualify, and we confirm what applies to your property.

FAQ

Storm cleanup questions

Do you do mold remediation?

No. Mold assessment and remediation are regulated separately. We clean exterior surfaces and will say when something needs a specialist.

Can you help with insurance photos?

We can’t file claims, but taking photos before cleaning is wise if you’re filing. Ask your insurer what documentation they need.

How soon after a storm can you clean?

Once the area is safe and any structural or electrical hazards are resolved. Tell us what happened when you request a quote.

Do you haul debris?

No. We clean surfaces. Debris removal is a separate service.
